I write short stories and love to read the short stories others write. I am always impressed by the amazing creativity I find in the work of amateur writers. I write for fun and have no ambition of ever publishing anything. If by some miracle my writing were publishable I would give all the proceeds to charity. When money enters the equation fun becomes work and I don't need any more of that; also, when contracts enter into the equation art is profaned ... it becomes a form of prostitution in my estimation.

In my mind, I am a writer but in actual fact, I have yet to put pen to paper because I am afraid of finding out I can't do it. Maybe one day.

I write short stories mostly, though I've worked on longer stuff. Right now I'm just starting a novel.
I write because I love stories and story ideas pop into my head often enough that writing to dispose of a few of them seems like a good idea. Besides, it's fun. As long as I don't get too perfectionist-y about it.

I've been writing for the past few years. I actually have a published book and have finished 3 in that time. I enjoy writing and like reading, its my escape from the real world. I can create my own laws, personalities and flaws with my finger tips. I can make the Heroin the hero or the villain-turn-nice.

Its my world away from reality.
