Huddle or Hussle.?

I guess in writing a book you should be good at it or
you must have something good.!
In publishing them, i think theres a sort of
criteria to be followed before its approved
to be published by a sponsor..
or you can use own money..

Yes, there are plenty of vanity publishers that will take your coin.

Here are a few questions to mull over:

(1) How many copies of a book would a novice author realistically expect to sell? A few hundred? A few thousand?

(2) What if he/she fails to even sell a few hundred copies, and maybe sold just a few dozen, would the effort still be worthwhile?

(3) Is selling a few dozen copies WORSE than not having had the book published in the first place?

I know my own answers to the above, but would be curious as to the answers of other forum members.

The important thing is to have some people from different age groups comment on your story. If they like it, you'd probably target some readers.

Good luck!

Ernest Hemmingway said it best "Write the Truest Sentence you know" and somehow the rest just follows.
