Variety of ways to write eng. sentences in different styles

Post by bookpro01 »

Can someone please let me know a free website source where it informs us different ways to write sentences, paragraphs in different english styles. For example, like you can see in the book, Exercises in Style (just search it on amazon and click "view inside" and you will see what I am talking about):

If anyone understands what I mean, please let me know!

edit (posted on oct2510): Please anyone respond to our simple request for a website that meets my answer. Thanks in advance!

I can only offer examples of what I think you are refering to:

1. Harold cried as the wolves attacked his dog, "Leave him alone!"
2. Harold cried, "Leave him alone!" while the wolves attacked his dog.
3. "Leave him alone!" Harold cried, while the wolves attacked his dog.
4. While the wolves attacked his dog, Harold cried, "Leave him alone!"
5. The wolves attacked his dog. Harold cried, "Leave him alone!"
6. The wolves attacked his dog. "Leave him alone!" Harold cried.
... Et cetera.
