Who will be doing Nanowrimo this year?

A little behind, but I'm almost done with my second NaNo novel. I wrote the first one this summer during Camp NaNoWriMo

Oh, wow I wish I had heard of NaNoWriMo earlier, a writing camp is just what I need. I'm definitely saving the site though.

There's also campnano held in April and July, which are pretty similar. Still writing a novel in a month or as much of it as possible, except you can choose your own word goal and they've got cabins so you can form a smaller close-knit group (if you know people who are also doing it) or be allocated to one and make new friends.

It seems like something I could get into, but with how busy my schedule is, I don't know if it's ideal for me right now. I've heard many people and seen may writers talk so highly of it!

I usually do either the summer camp version in June or the actual version in November. I tried to do both one year and ended up with two half done novels. Never got enough time to do all the editing to bring them up to snuff. I will probably do the summer one this year because the November one falls into my birthday and Thanksgiving which is way too much time to lose.

I do the one over the summer because there is too much going on in November. I did finish in November once before having kids.

I always intend to do Nanowrimo but never actually get around to it. I'm glad I looked at this thread, though, because I had no idea about Camp Nanowrimo and I think I'd do better in the summer than in November.

I did it last year, but will not this year. Last year, I got a lot written, but I didn't finish the book completely. I needed more time to spill it out on the page.

This year's NaNo will be my 9th year doing it.
So far of the previous 8 NaNo's, I've always won.

I'm signed up to do this. I have a high school friend who wrote her first novel during NaNoWriMo, and now she has 6 published novels. I'm excited to dedicate November purely to writing!
