For action scenes i prefer Metal, heavy or classic.
For story developing I stick with classical sound tracks. Very often, when i am listening a long forgoten movie sound track, i can remember scenes that became writting material for me.
But what really inspire me to get into writting is:
everything.
Strong feelings i experience along the day, a really weird dream at morning, an unusual moment, unusual talks I hear, games, movies, etc...
I believe, if you pay atention, you can find inspiration in almost everything, it only depends if you are looking for.
As I always say: "The oportunity only reveals itself to the oportunist"

That seems logical. Only do something if it adds to the exisiting body of knowledge or art and does not simply repeat it ad nauseum.Kilgore-trout wrote:I always get hyped to write when I read something or watch something that has so many plot holes and horrible characters. I just feel so confident I could write something better
As to the humdrum of ordinary life, it would usually inspire a few individuals only in one way -- that they resolve never to be part of the ordinariness that makes up the general crowd.
