I find that personal experiences and dreams inspire my writing. It is easy for me to touch on stuff and over eggerate on things relvent in my life. I also like to sit in big crouds of people and watch what they do and i find ideas just bubble through my head.

I love writing. :D

What inspires me? To be able to see something that a lot of others had failed to see or to make any connections.

As a writer I am always looking at success stories by debut novelists. I think some of the best novels come from debut novelists because they are putting everything on the line, trying to launch their career, and really looking to make a name for themselves as a career novelist. At my website, a website for aspiring novelists--The Accomplished Writer--I began writing and posting articles on debut novelists and their book deals, how they came to make a six- and seven-figure contract, foreign rights contracts, movie deals, etc. because this is what inspires me. Plus, once these books come out I can read a novel I know sold for a million dollars. Not only is this encouraging, it's a great gauge for what's selling in NY these days!

When i am writting, music is my fuel to not stopping. I set different musics for different moments of my writting.

For action scenes i prefer Metal, heavy or classic.
For story developing I stick with classical sound tracks. Very often, when i am listening a long forgoten movie sound track, i can remember scenes that became writting material for me.

But what really inspire me to get into writting is:

everything.
Strong feelings i experience along the day, a really weird dream at morning, an unusual moment, unusual talks I hear, games, movies, etc...

I believe, if you pay atention, you can find inspiration in almost everything, it only depends if you are looking for.

As I always say: "The oportunity only reveals itself to the oportunist"

I'm inspired by everyday life. I can pick a story out of a couple having dinner, a child playing with her doll, or even some vague line I hear from the radio.

Watching the real life can inspire me a lot. Real life is so unexpected and crazy that not a single writer can imagine the problems or the topics.

I always get hyped to write when I read something or watch something that has so many plot holes and horrible characters. I just feel so confident I could write something better :P

That seems logical. Only do something if it adds to the exisiting body of knowledge or art and does not simply repeat it ad nauseum.

As to the humdrum of ordinary life, it would usually inspire a few individuals only in one way -- that they resolve never to be part of the ordinariness that makes up the general crowd. :D

An overactive imagination inspires me, as well as everything I've ever seen. I've been inspired to write, short stories mostly, by the littlest things. Something as simple as an overheard conversation while waiting in line at a coffee shop can spawn the oddest story ideas.

When you're grateful to them for giving you the things you should already have anyway, ask yourself why."
