Why is this topic not more popular? This should be the main topic of this section!

Recently, I have just been writing on this forum. Hahah! And writing reviews. And writing a silly YA romance novel that I will NEVER let anyone else read for as long as I live.

Slipstream fiction. I loathe realistic fiction. I write to escape, not to live in a reality that will most likely turn out, considering my macabre sense of humor, worse than my current one.

I love freestyle writing poetry and short stories, but I also am drawn to technical writing simply because I like to have knowledge about everything. I love to learn

Sounds awesome! I like it when stories are kind of realistic in some elements, but totally unrealistic in others. Definitely an escape from the real world, so why make it the same!

I usually just write down whatever comes out from my hyperactive brain.

I write mostly stories just randomly in my spare time. I hope to write a book some day, but I continuously keep going back to edit.

I wrote two of them and they are the most horrendous things I have ever read in my life. I should be ashamed of myself.

I write short stories and novels, and I'm about to start on a YA historical romance which I'm pretty excited for.

Huh. Well, maybe romance isn't your thing. But don't feel ashamed! I'm going to PM you the first thing I wrote (before the Advice Avengers). It's a short story, and it is REALLY BAD. So bad it makes me laugh.

I am very glad to read the comments about my story on this website. I am very sorry
to find that some members cannot find a free download, which should be available from Amazon. The kind comments have stimulated me to write further stories, so watch this space. It would be very nice if those of you who have written comments could add them to the review section for the story on Amazon.

Now, of course, I really want to read them.

I write non-fiction articles about history, specifically American Revolution or strange history. I write ad copy for a bunch of retailers (yawn). I also write horror novels and short stories, which is really what I enjoy doing, but everything else sucks up my time and pays the bills.
