I find that my productivity rises late at night. It's rare that inspiration strikes in the middle of the day.

My creative writing time is from 5:30 to 8:30 in the morning. And for diary writing, I've allocated the evenings. This is nothing special, I do what has worked for many writers before me.

I like to spend the morning writing. That's when I'm at my most creative and at my brightest and best.

My best writing comes out late at night. Specifically when I'm sleep deprived. Used to write entire pages on long night train and bus rides and I kinda miss it.
