The current stage of the writing process depends heavily on this. Are you on your first draft? Nobody else but you is going to see that, so why should you conform your thoughts to societal standards? Only worry about grammar and punctuation when someone else is going to read it because the point of grammar rules is to communicate with others. When you're just communicating with yourself, go ahead and have giant block paragraphs with absolutely no punctuation whatsoever. Personally, I need grammar and punctuation to properly formulate my ideas, but if it's a roadblock for you, shove it out of the way and worry about it later.

As someone who went to college with the goal of being a fiction editor, I can confidently say you've gotten some great advice here! 100% creativity first. If the grammatical concerns are a distraction when you're writing, try using voice to text writing options. Just make sure to reserve time at the end of your writing-speaking session to re-read and make sure it makes sense, as voice to text software isn't perfect, and will sometimes type something nothing like what you said.
