What I really love are those moments when the writing is going well, and the ideas are flowing, and I'm ready to stay at the computer as long as that state continues because so much good comes out of it. I find that with practice, those moments occur more frequently (though nowhere near often enough!).

I also enjoy the rewrite, getting a sentence or sometimes even a scene 'just right.' That satisfaction carries a long way!

I agree, I love those moments when everything you want to say comes out in the written word. I write until that moment ends, usually. I also enjoy the editing process, because that's when you can change and rewrite everything you've written to better improve the way you wrote the last time. :)

I love research! Though I have been known to lose a little too much time to it. Stumbling across something that can be used to overcome an unexpected plot hurdle or finding snippets that begin to spark ideas for other pieces is just great.

The days when you suddenly realise you forgot to eat because everything just clicked and the story is flowing.

Finally finding the right voice and/or POV is probably one of the things I love most.

I love planning the story and the characters most

Creating characters is probably the most fun. I love turning them into real people and figuring out what makes them tick and creating their relationships. After that, I think research and brainstorming can be a lot of fun if everything's flowing, or even if you get stuck there can be fun in the challenge of overcoming an obstacle. Maybe fun isn't the right word, that's more rewarding, I suppose. And I agree that once you're in the flow of writing and just go for hours without stopping is the best feeling in the world. Even if you end up missing dinner.

I find the satisfaction of getting something 'right' amazing and that's what I find the most fun about writing :)

I find the creation of characters, new worlds, is fun. A specifically knowing this creation is going to take someone away from their current mind state to a place where they can for a while indulge in a new world or experience.

I have the most fun creating characters and worlds. The most fun comes from creating my main characters!

I love researching and finding out new things. It's also great when you can keep writing because the ideas never stop flowing. I feel so energised when that happens. I enjoying revising my writing as well especially when I feel the emotions that I had intended for a particular scene to have because to me, that feels like I'm doing something right. You slowly perfect your book through multiple revisions and you gain a sense of satisfaction from it. There are just so many things I love about writing!

One of my favorite things is the world is when all is right in my writing space. Ideas are flowing, I'm comfy, the words seem to be coming through me rather than from me...it's wonderful. Research is so much fun, I love researching anything and everything, and since I include cultures that aren't normally written about in my stories research gets done a lot. ^^ I'm also a major in psychology, which helps since I'm very character oriented. Creating real, vibrant characters who have their limits and things that break or fix them is the most incredible thing in the world, to the point where their personalities are so well developed that there are some paths the story simply cannot tread because they would never do certain things. Worldbuilding is thrilling, and I had to do a lot of it for Nanowrimo this year. It's challenging to break away from Earth-centric thinking, but so much fun and so rewarding. Creating religions is part of worldbuilding and that's fun too, figuring out how religions would affect culture and vice versa.

I love when I think that things will go one way, but when I finally put it down to paper I realize that it cannot be that way and my story takes on a whole new path that I never expected. I love when my daughter asks t read something I wrote and gives me input that I never thought of and again a new path is discovered. Most of all, I just love to write.

The moments when you can't stop because everything is coming to you at once.

It's the adrenaline rush(intense happiness and empowering sort of feeling) while writing when I put my feelings, thoughts and everything I want to express(that I sometimes can't because of the place and time I am in) into a tangible place that is mine and the feeling when the pencil stops, it's like ecstasy. Although I am not a writer, I do occasionally write and when I do, this is how I feel. I guess this is the whole point of writing(and everything else we do while living) -creating a state of happiness where we can enjoy ourselves
