Anyone have experience with writing a script for comics?

I am playing around with the idea of working on a comic for NaNoWriMo.... and was wondering if anyone had experience with the writing portions of it? ((I am going to do all the art myself but that's another topic.))

I would appreciate any advice or programs that you used.

Part of me wants to just write it like a play or movie script? But I am unsure if there are better methods.
