Name Book Suggestions?

Post by Gravy »

I collect name books.
I love to browse through and find the meanings of various names.
I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for good, in depth, naming books?

I have one I can offer up:
The Character Naming Sourcebook by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
There has been more than one release of the book.
The later release has lists of names by meaning, which I found a unique and informative feature, and would love if I could find more books with this type of detail.

Please and thank you :)
Pronouns: She/Her

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

I have never heard of a book listing names by their meaning. That would be really helpful to me!
I don't have any specific recommendations, but I used to be obsessed with going into the "expectant mother" section at the bookstore, and there are tons of "baby names" books with origins and meanings. These days I just use the internet.
