I wrote a pretty long review for this site. It made my brain hurt. :D

Finished a total revision and rehash of my new novel, did this complete rewrite today (Jan 22) and will be celebrating this weekend!

Novel submitted to the prospective publisher today, so wish me luck!

Ugh. Besides work related reports, I have written nothing at all this entire week. I have no motivation. Someone bribe me with cookies or something? :D

Made a few teeny tweaks in my newly finished novel -- changed a minor character's name from Robert to Terry because another character is already named Bobby. Little stuff like that.

Finished one mystery book review and started another.

Went out w. my girlfriend and had a nice lunch w. some other friends. Laughed a lot and enjoyed great TexMex. Does that count? And oh yeah, took our little adoptee calico cat to the vet to be "fixed" and cat is not happy now.

Merely wrote a list of stuff I need to do by the end of this week. And numerous emails for work. Boring stuff, to say the least. Nothing of importance. :(

Hey, everyone! I've written 1,315 words today so far, and that's a good writing day for me!!!

I'm plowing through #7 of my series. I feared that it wasn't humorous enough thus far, but tonight I'm in the zone. I love being in the zone. Anyone else out there have a good writing session today?

Over the last few days I've spruced up 3 of my short horror stories that I'm now going to submit for publication.

And I'm getting into the general plot development of my new novel, just starting the first chapters.

Hey, everyone. I wrote around 4000 words yesterday. At least, I think I did--I'm not certain if some of it was from the day before. All the same, I'm not normally that productive!! Go me! Today I've only written 500 words and I'm kind of run-down from the holiday weekend. BUT... I am within 4,000 to 7,000 words of completion of my volume #7.

Well, I'm just about done with #7. I was trying to write today and there was a street party going on right across the street. It was horribly stressful.

I did only editing today. Got a bout two chapters read through and marked the things I need to check for consistencies. Fun times.

Hi everyone! I'm new to these forums, new to writing as well. Typically I do cover art for other writers but I have had a few stories tap, tap, tapping at my brain to be told so I am giving it a shot. I know I should be writing every day but I find that with working a full time day job, working my cover art on the side, having a family (with a particularly rambunctious 11 yr old boy) and a farm full of animals I just don't have enough hours in the day. So, I am learning not to beat myself up for not getting as much done as I would like. I figure slow progress is better than no progress. :D
