Creative Descriptions

Post by pretzelsnow »

All right all you writers, imagine that you started flying upward from where you are sitting now upward in a straight line to the sky.
Where would you go?
What would you see, taste, smell, hear, and touch?
Describe exactly how it looks like!
Now put on your imagination cap, get your creative juices flowing and GO!

Here is mine:(It doesn't have to be long just get your creative juices flowing)

Flying into the colorful rainbow,I sat on the very tipsy-top of the gorgeous of semi-circle.I resided in a place that was called Sky Wonderland. My taste buds awakened as I licked off the excess apple pieces from Grandma Anna's Polish apple pie.The air in Sky Wonderland smelled so heavenly. It was so fresh and pure I couldn't get enough whiffs of it.The orchestra of chirping birds danced around my ear. Velvety clouds tickled my fingertips.Dazzling and outstanding, the colors blinded my eyes for a moment. Looking at a reflection of myself I discover that my face has a radiant glow to it. Multi-million specks of clouds wave to me from above. The trees seem just like a small green dot from my perch in Sky Wonderland. At last, my eyelashes gingerly shut and I fall asleep nestled in the soft white mattress.
When all think alike, no one is thinking very much.

Latest Review: "The Christ Killer" by Robert Attenborough

I was sitting at my computer like any other day, when I chanced upon a mysterious thread. Then suddenly I felt a lightness come over me, and it worsened. A lot. Before I knew it my laptop was sliding away from me, tumbling to the floor. It was as if some imaginary string was pulling me upwards from my tailbone. THUNK! In a daze I hit the ceiling. "Joe?! Am I hallucinating?!?!" There was no response. I mutter to myself, "Must be a dream... must be a dream..." Some time passes, and then my mood shifts. "Wait a minute. This could be fun..."

I push myself away from the ceiling, and clumsily bump around the living room. As I gain my bearings I am soon zooming up and down the hallway. "Woooohooooo!" I guess I got a bit carried away, because before I knew what was happening I flew out the back door (which I always leave open so my dog can come and go as she pleases), and I was gaining height. A lot of height. An alarming amount of height. My heart was pounding, but I couldn't resist the pull. I tried swimming motions, flailing helplessly. "Help me! Someone help! Ahhhh!" The air was getting colder as I gained altitude, my teeth chattered, my head started feeling light, and I was out of breath.

"Is this how I die?" I curl up in the fetal position, helpless among an endless desert of sky. I close my eyes, though there is a brightness that permeates through my eyelids. Suddenly the warmth returns to my body. "God? Is that you?"
I love LOVE. <3
