I take notes with Evernote as I read on my phone.
When I finished, I type the review on my Google Drive.

I have been writing on paper then to Microsoft word. May be too basic out of ignorance.
There are so many new options here to try out.

I first write notes about the book on paper and list down some specific themes and thoughts about it that occur whilst reading. Afterwards, I use Microsoft Word to type up a rough idea of what my review is going to be about, then elaborate on those ideas by using the notes written in my book.

I use Google Docs, but in the past, I've also used Word. So far I'm not sure which of the two is best, or if there are other sites that work better than these two.

I use MS Word. It is what I'm used to and it helps me with my first rough spell and grammar check. I always proofread myself because spell check doesn't catch everything.

I have a relly strange option. If I write it on my phone, I usually use message to myself. It's the most comfortable for me. If I use a laptop it's usually Microsoft Word, the most comfortable app for writting.

While reading, I use pen and paper for notes and outlines. Then when I'm ready I draft it on MS Word or WPS. When I'm done I use Grammarly for a final sweep. So far I'm satisfied with this routine but I'm open to other techniques and processes.

I write my reviews out in my sketchbook that I bought just for this purpose. It's one of the smaller, hard covered 'book' sized ones. Then I type up my review in libre office, editing as I type. Most consider it more effort than it is actually worth, but this method works for me. lol.
