It depends upon the question. An answer that comes suddenly may be ill-thought through, whereas the one that sounds familiar may be based upon sound experience. Which one is really the best choice depends on context. Context is everything.

I prefer the sudden ideas. Because that is exciting. But before I get the idea into a workable concept it will become a well-plodded idea.
