Can some one please share all the things you can write in a book to have the readers participation. I know some of them are newsletter, polls, Rss feed, subscribe to channels (youtube or twitter), but what else are their?

First of all the book must have a cover that could attract a person in the way you want them to be.. Scary book Strange book happy book depends on what design.. Then the title must be good.! The pages should look good and the content should be good to coping with the books..

Nowadays it's very improtant to keep close contact with the reader so I think it's improtant to inlcude your website or even email to have some feedback.

I agree with the above poster. Including an e-mail or website where the reader feels involved is a great way to build a base. Look at Straub, Donaldson and King...

The mindset of the consumer is such that anything which is free is not valued. :lol:

To sell a book the publisher has to get the price points -- between hardcover and softcover -- just right.
