Dyslexia Questions

Post by Anastasia Atkinson »

I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues when reading books when it comes to having dyslexia. I have read a couple books where there is a unique name that you read one way only to find out when talking with someone you mix up a "u" and "a" or a "b" and "d". I've had a few times I was saying the wrong name the whole time and now the correct name sounds wrong because I built this character around a different name. I'm just wondering if other people with dyslexia also have this problem or if it is also an issue people without dyslexia also have. I know pronunciation is a more common one so I'm just curious.
The most extraordinary thing about those long-ago times was that privileged families were allowed to gain unfair advantage for their children, by paying to send them to the best schools with the best teachers and the best facilities.
