Icon A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A beautifully written tale of a girl in an unfortunate world, longing for something more. But the "more" she received is not what she expected. Fairies, High Kings, otherworldly beings. Feyre is thrust into an unknown world, with nothing but the tattered clothing on her back. Her captor, High Fae named Tamlin, will do whatever he must to keep her safe. She slowly falls in love and realizes she will do the same. But love is seen as weakness to the evil forces, hidden deep within the forest.

This book is bound to keep your interest the entire time, a definite page-turner. I am a HUGE fiction fan because it rips me away from the boring every day of the Real World. This story definitely did that for me, so much so that I read it within two days. Maas' illustration of Feyre and Tamlin's bond is so well written that I became so invested in their relationship, sitting on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. I ordered the whole series, I just couldn't help myself! I see a lot more of Sarah J. Maas novels on my shelves in the near future.
