This sounds like a very interesting and unique novel. Sci-fi isn't normally something I can get into but this sounds like I could be captivated by the plot and writing style. Thank you for a great review that points out the great points as well as what you would have preferred to be different.

I like the idea of this book, but at 866 pages, it's going to be a big commitment to read it. Your suggestion for the author to condense some of the chapters may have solid merit. I'm on the fence about reading this one or not; however, your review does sway me in the direction of doing it. Thank you.

What an intriguing review! Combine university students battling a terminal illness as they try to survive and succeed, and you have a must-read! Sounds absolutely fascinating at all levels of university life. The challenge is on for survival, for academia, and for acceptance. The upperclassmen, especially in sports, are going to make this difficult for our afflicted preps.

The intriguing characterization of Jet seems to have astonishing aspects in this story, and it would be worth reading this novel to know the mysterious element surrounding Jet and other students of Skylight University.

This is an excellent review. I am fascinated by stories about new worlds and the endless possibilities they offer. Having a teenager as the protagonist appeals to me because their emotions are intense and authentic. The addition of mystery to the plot is also intriguing as it adds purpose to the story. Overall, I am very curious about this series.

This review made me feel a lot better about this story. It did not resonate with me but I gained an appreciation after reading the review. The reviewer still rated it 5 out of 5 stars. This reviewer was very fair. I feel it may be a worth while read after all. 4 out of 4 for the review. Story definitely has sound messages for readers and keeps readers interested. Another great choice for BOTD.

This appears to be a rather amazing the book with an interesting story. Glowing eyes, mysteries and coming of age make for a powerful plot. The review highlights the main points of the story quite well. I love how even though things didn't appeal to the reviewer, they didn't detract points from the rating. The overall summary is very intriguing, and gives enough to hook the reader into reading the book without giving too much information. Excellent job on this review!

The mystery of the neon eye condition does not intrigue me, but the cover is truly spectacular. Although I was worried that the review mentioned that it is a book with more than 800 pages (too many pages for my taste), it was given a very good rating. I'm undecided whether or not to read the story of Jet Stroud and his neon eyes. I'll put it on my list of books to read; I'll decide later.
