Jon's and Margaret's lives turn grim as their stance against slavery brings them trouble. They flee to Australia with their children for better opportunities and survival. The poetic lines, survival skills, and graphic illustrations catch the reader's eye.

"The Foundlings and the Fisherman from Tumby" by Phillip Leighton-Daly is a gripping historical tale of loss, resilience, and survival. From war-torn Kansas to the dangers of Australia, Jon and Margaret’s journey is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Hi @Amy Jackson [Egegbara], I just read your comments on the official review of "The Foundlings and Fisherman from Tumby" by Phillip Leighton-Daly and I agree it was sad that the two children died but they were murdered along with many people by an evil man named Captain William Quanitrill. @Mrlefty0706
