Throne of Glass

Post by meganxxcooper »

"Throne of Glass" by Sarah J Maas was a kick butt story that glued you to the page.
Celaena Sardothien is the most feared assassin in the land, until she is caught and taken to Endovier, a death camp. Then suddenly the prince comes to take her out of this camp, asking her to be his competitor for a competition to be the King's Champion, or personal assassin. She must compete against the others while keeping her identity a secret and knowing that both a gaurd and the prince love her. Will Celaena come out on top or fall in the end?
While reading this book I was glued to the pages. Prince Dorian was charming, Chaol was as well. Nehemia is the person I want to be friends with. The book just felt like a really great adventure and a fun story. Celaena is an amazing example of a female character who likes girly things, yet is kick-butt at the same time. I would only have one complaint about this book- the fact that the cover has a face on it, but what's inside is what really matters anyway! The characters in "Throne of Glass" swept me away.
