Old Magic by Marianne Curley

Post by Mikasa7 »

The first time I picked up this book I had absolutely zero expectations for it. It was just a random book I had found. Soon after I started it, however I was hooked. I finished the book within a day. I think we all unconsciously wish that we were different, special, or had magical abilities and the author of this novel takes that wish of ours and creates a relatable book. The main characters go through many struggles and difficulties including a good dose of time travel and relationship issues. We all want a little bit of magic in our lives and this book is a representation of that desire. I would recommend this book to any and all fantasy readers who would enjoy a relatable yet magical journey.

I've read this book too! It's been a while, though. I enjoyed it quite a bit, as I recall. :-)
