Paper Towns by John Green

I know that John Green is a touchy subject. Everyone either loves him or hates him. I love him because of The Fault in Our Stars. I read the book before the movie was even heard of, and I actually didn't like the movie very much. But anyway, Paper Towns...
After I heard they were making a movie for this book, I decided to read it. I was very disappointed. I had high expectations for this book because obviously they would make a movie out of John Green's books, right? Apparently not. I feel like the book dragged on for a while and had no action, plot twists, or ANYTHING to make me want to read on. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did.
