The Maze Runner by James Dashner

Post by eprater »

I was actually very disappointed when I first started reading this book. I was not drawn in at all. The writing was pretty dry, there was nothing that was captivating, and the language was very quirky, and was hard to understand at first.
But I can never start a book and not finish, and I decided to give the book a try, and I'm glad I did!
I enjoyed reading this book, because it was a lot different than books I usually read and gave me a different writing style that I can try out. It was definitely interesting, and I am going to read the next book.
I will say that it is not my favorite, but because of the difference in this book's composition than other popular books right now, I would give it a higher rating because of its originality and style.
So if you started this book and didn't like it, I would give it a second try, because it is definitely worth it!
