Unofficial review of The Academy by C.L. Stone

Post by Nicolekailyn »

The first book in this series was offered as a free e-book by iTunes so I decided to take a chance on it, and I am so glad I did. This is now my favorite series.

Sang is unlike normal teenage girls. She doesn't have friends, doesn't realize she lives in a abusive home, and doesn't feel loved. One of those things changes when she moves to Charleston South Carolina. She unexpectedly finds herself pulled into a group of teenage boys. Sang has to navigate the tricky waters of having friends, and keeping them from her family. What she doesn't know is that these boys aren't content being hidden away, they wish to give her everything she has never had, friends, family, and love.
