The Shatter Me series is about a 17-year-old girl, Juliette Ferrars, who has been locked up because when she touches people they die. She looks at her gift as a burden until she has some help from some friends. Once she learns to control her gift she realize just how powerful it can be.

At first, I was not sure if this is a series I would really be able to get into but once I started reading it I could not stop. There are a few parts that are a little slow and sometimes I felt as if it was a little repetitive, but overall a great read. I would rate this book a 4 out of 4. I loved the twist at the end. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a young adult book with a little romance in it.
