Dean Koontz- Hideaway

Post by tcampbell23 »

Let me just off by saying this was not at all what I was expecting. This book switches back and forth between view points and tells the story through the eyes of a several different characters, but mainly through two different men. Without giving any spoilers away, I have to say I am simply in awe of this book. It is well written and had me nose deep until I finished it. It can be a little slow paced at the beginning as certain things are explained but the end is as riveting as it is surprising. The supernatural and the natural come together here- its gruesome and dark yet light in other places, and at the end when you're rooting for the main character to do one thing- you're blown away when he does five other things you never would've guessed. I recommend it.
