Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children

Post by BookSavvy90 »

By far one of the greatest Christmas presents I've ever gotten. This book gives off that Tim Burton-esque feel which I love. It's so dark and the mystery was so intriguing I couldn't for the life of me put it down. The visuals within the book are also something to talk about. They are some of the creepiest pictures I've ever seen and adds to the atmosphere of the story (if that makes sense). This was one of those books that made me sad just because I finished it, because I just wanted to keep reading it, but now I know there are sequels out which I am now dying to read.

So yeah if you're into dark, creepy, Tim Burton-esque style books you should definitely pick this one up. I promise you you won't regret it.
