I actually quite enjoyed this book as well, the only problem I had was Will (if that was his name, I can't even remember anymore). I'm just so over those mysterious jerk types.

I love this series so much. Cassandra Clare never fails to impress me with her writing. I can't wait for the dark artifices to come out next year :)

Personally I preferred Infernal Devices over Mortal Instruments quite a bit. Will'send character arc was a particularlyrics good plot point for me, because the character who seemed like the worst person imaginable having a really good reason for it and redeeming themselves in the eyes of their loved ones is always great. If you like steam punk and mobsters, combined with pining and bromance, this is for you.

I loved Will (Herondale) so much! He is a jerk because he has to be but he's also charming and witty. I love his backstory and how he connects to The Mortal Instruments. For me, the person I couldn't stand was Jem. Have you read the rest of the Infernal Devices yet?

This series I read before I read TMI. It is the far better series, in my opinion. The Mortal Instruments drags on forever and most of those characters are irritating. But TID got into my soul and now I re-read these books every summer. This book in particular is fantastic! Definitely check it out if you haven't yet!
