The Iron Butterfly Series by Chanda Hahn

Post by KeepingItReal »

The Iron Butterfly is about a girl named Thalia who has awaken to find that she is a prisoner of the evil Septori. She has no memories. She is starved by her captors. Her journey begins when she escapes. She befriends a Denai which are superhumans with powers. She becomes a servant in the Citadel, but the Septori are not through with Thalia yet. They have changed her into something dark and twisted, something not human or Denai. The Iron Butterfly follows Thalia as she tries to find herself and control her powers while the Septori is determined to get back Thalia, dead or alive.

I found the Iron Butterfly very entertaining. It's a little dark and twisted, but it's only a little bit. There is some romance in the book. The book kept me guessing about Thalia's past and her mysterious stalker and former prison mate, Kael. I like how Thalia changes throughout the book. At first, she's weak. She doesn't know anything, yet slowly Thalia becomes strong and powerful. She becomes a force to be reckoned with. The book is a great book for fantasy and Young Adult readers. The book comes at a good price of ninety nine cents on Kindle for Amazon and twelve dollars on paperback on Amazon.

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time but unfortunately my library doesn't carry it. :( But I"m glad to hear you liked it, I hope it's as good as I think it'll be, when I finally read it. :P

This series was absolutely amazing (I LOVE the author!!). The visuals with the way it was written was great. I would like to say that I am not a huge fan of those tight situations when you feel like the whole story and all the progress through the mystery is about to crumble, but secretly I love it! I was so thankful to find that the whole series had been written by the tie I started reading it.

What did you think about spiritual component to this series?
