I think kids will find the book entertaining, especially as the main characters are kids themselves.

The world sounds very interesting and imaginative and the stealing children aspect reminds me of a lot of folklore, particularly Celtic and German folklore, in which fairies steal children. It would usually be right up my alley but the editing issues would be too much for me. I've just encountered too many self-published books with huge editing issues lately to pursue this book before it is thoroughly edited. Thank you for the thorough and honest review.
