To everyone posting hate about the book series: you must be talking about the movie because in my opinion the book series was pretty good. Sure there were minor details here and there but compared to the movies the series was amazing and when I first read it I was astounded because (don't judge) it was one of my first YA books.

I truly enjoyed this whole series. I think that they get a bad rep due to the poorly acted movies but as a reader before the movies came to be I liked them. :o I enjoyed the slight sass that Bella has and the more detail into the kind of person she was. I don't believe Bella was portrayed like she was written in the books. I also don't think Edward was totally in character either. There was a lot to be desired from the films and they did not live up to the expectations. The books themselves were very interesting. I enjoyed the story so much I have actually read them several times! I loved the new concept for the way werewolves became werewolves! Always a fan of the books :tiphat:

I put off anything with Twilight for a long time. I wasn't really into the whole vampire and werewolves genre but this series open my eyes to the genre. Most of the movies were out before I read the books. I wound up reading one book at a time then watching the movie except with Breaking Dawn. I had to know how the story ended so I read the whole book and didn't see the movies until both of them had came out. I've always been a big believer with books are always better than the movies. The books were by far better than the movies but I liked the movies as well. The movies showed more of how imprinting works than the books did in my opinion but left out the others that had imprinted except Sam. All in all every now and again I'll reread the books then binge watch the movies.

It is an amazing series both books and movies! I started out, though, with the movies and I love the books even better. It was especially great to see ms Meyer grow in her writing format as well.

Honestly i really liked this series before the movies came out and it became ridiculous . the books alone were great and in no way cheesey but would be liked way more if they never made the movies !

Another one of my favorites! I loved both the books and the movies! I'm extremely sad they're over though. I have heard a lot of negativity about the books especially, but I loved them. They might have been a little on the easy side but the story was full of love and adventure. I was actually really reluctant to start them because everyone was reading them and I thought they must be pretty bad but I started them and couldn't stop!

And the movies? How great were the movies? I mean the casting job- brilliant! Those two had so much chemistry and I think it really translated through the screen. I was so upset when I heard they broke up, they were such a great pair. Anyways, exactly as I imagined. Why couldn't they do the same great job on the Fifty Shades of Grey movies?

These books and movies have dominated my life for a week on numerous occasions. I randomly go on Twilight binges and read all the books and watch all the movies. Stephanie Meyer outdid herself by writing this series. It is crazy to me that she thought up this series by having a dream that she couldn't shake. I have to admit I was not happy with Twilight Reimagined.

I bought my young teenage daughter the beautiful hard cover box set for Christmas one year, hoping that her interest in reading would increase...as she was caught up in the Twilight hype. Unfortunately, I don't think she has ever even cracked a cover. I read them right away so that I knew what she was going to be reading. I thought they were phenomenal. I whipped through every book and was highly disappointed when I finished the last book...I wanted there to be more! I have also taken my daughter to all of the movies...the midnight opening shows (tons of fun). I am disappointed in the movies. My very least favorite was New Moon. It made me so angry because of the depiction of Jacob. The movie made him look like a crazy stalker and that was just not the case in the book. Overall, I would highly recommend the books...the movies, not so much.

I absolutely loved this series. All of these books were amazing and very hard to put down. The books are always better than the movies too btw!!! Stephanie Meyer did an awesome job of captivating each character and allowing us to get to know them and feel like we have a personal relationship with each character. She is an amazing author and has done quite well with this series. I strongly recommend this series to everyone. :D :D :D :D

i had to read this before my wife would let my daughter read it. at first i thought it was okay, but near the end of the series, it got a little too mature. the protagonist was very mild, and i just hope my daughter doesn't treat her family the same way the bella did

First off my favorite movie is eclipse. Second,I thought the books were pretty amazing! I was so mesmorized and honestly rarely put one of those books down. I loved going into the world of "Twilight" every time I'd read. I almost felt as though i was in the story myself.

I loved the books in all honesty. The movies are good when your having a down day and need a little romance, but the books will always always be my go to books when I need some love and romance plus danger. I am still waiting for more from this author and feel she honestly has a lot more to give.

I enjoyed the Twilight series a lot when I was younger. In fact, I think it got me into reading larger books, as I usually shied away from them. However, I think The Host is a much better novel.
