I think this book would be very popular with young readers because it is filled with fantasy. I also think it was sweet of Will to look for his sister after she disappeared. Young readers may be able to relate to this book if they have siblings. Thanks for the review. I'll be sure to recommend this to my future readers.

The story of a parallel world, that too with lots of shimmer sounds interesting, but the evil looms large. Thanks for the review.

There is danger around every corner, unforgettable characters, and constant tests of loyalties and friendships. The author has such imagination, and you can truly feel the emotions the characters feel, and see the incredible and sometimes terrifying scenes in which they encounter.
A gripping coming-of-age novel about parallel worlds sound intriguing for fans of fantasy stories. I am not a fan of fantasy books, but I'll give it a try. Thank you for the detailed review!

This sounds like a wonderful blend of fantasy and coming-of-age! The world that the author created sounds beautiful and dark and filled with many unique characters! Congrats on the book of the day! Great review.

I would love to try this book. I am a Harry Potter fan and would love to read more books that are like them. Interested to see what this parallel world is like and if the sister is ever found.

This seems like a great fantasy book. I wonder if Will and his family were able to find Emmy. Nice review!

I'm not a fan of fantasy, but the concept of parallel worlds is interesting. I am not sure about the "pretty graphic action" and "gruesome scenes", but the book has won 7 awards which means those scenes help build the story. I got my free copy to try. Thank you for the great review!

I haven't read books about parallel worlds and I'm really interested in this book due to that reason. In addition to that, the author of this book seems to have a vivid imagination, making this book a must read for me. So thanks for your review about this lovely fantasy novel.

The idea that the 'real world' is actually the source of *sounds* for a world made up entirely of echos reliant on said sounds is a rather unique take in the idea of parallel worlds. Mixed with the idea that (if I'm understanding this correctly) an echo could somehow cause the disappearance of a sound? That's a book I'm interested in reading!

Thanks for your detailed review. I loved the introduction as it aroused my interest towards the whole review. It is intriguing to have a place where our sounds go and we are able to locate it. I would call it the adventure of a life time. Well, the teenagers can fantasize all they can. I happily note the word of caution on the graphic scenes in the book.

Congrats on your review featuring in the book of the day promotion.

The only thing I'm interested in is the author's creation of parallel worlds; I find it to be very intriguing. I think I'll enjoy this book given its adventurous and action-packed premise. Thank you for the review.

While teen fantasy may not be my genre, the plot seems complex and interesting. This parallel world of echoes can make an interesting subject for any fan of fantasy.
