The book offers an interesting take on two missing children where only appears to survive. It then seems to take a twist to take fantasy. I am not into fantasy books usually. Although I enjoyed reading your review, this one isn't for me. Congrats on BOTD!

Wow, nice review! I myself have lost some interest in fantasy literature over the years, guess I rather read something more "real" nowadays. At least having characters that are my age or so, something I can relate to.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, though, the fact that you mentioned it at the very end, caught my attention. And made me curious about it. I have never (yeah) given a chance to an audiobook before. I guess there's a first time for everything. Thank you for this review! :D

This sounds like it was really unique! "Echoes" and "sounds" as sentient beings is an interesting concept. I am not usually a fan of audio books, but I am excited to read this one for myself.

I am most intrigued about this story having have read your thoughts on it! I'm fascinated with other realms and the story if missing twins seems to add a deeper level of interest. Happy to hear that it's action packed! Thank you for your thoughts!

Thanks to your review, I am putting this book at the top of my must-read list! I have always wondered what if there was a parallel reality to ours. The added aspect of mystery makes it even more interesting. I definitely look forward to reading this!

Huh. Parallel words and fantastic occurrences sound right up my alley. I admit to clicking on it solely because of the cover and the name, but the premise sounds like something I would have read when I was much younger. I'm going to check this one out.

I find the idea of people having echoes in parallel world fascinating, so I will check this book out. I also like that it is an award-winning book. Thanks for the review!

The book sounds really interesting. And the concept of Echoes and Sounds is very intriguing, especially the fact that when a Sound dies the Echo is definitely executed; moreover when someone wants to kill an Echo he will hunt down the unsuspecting Sound. Besides there's the mystery of missing children. It will be really interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD and thanks for making it free.

I always liked parallel universe scenarios and was fascinated with idea of doppelganger since Willow-vamp. But current book adds all together new and unique spin to very familiar ground. I would have read it just for it's sake, thankfully plot is good as well!

I have always been intrigued by the idea of parallel worlds as a possibility in physics and also as a fantasy in fiction. The descriptions in the review of this world make it sound not only exciting but also stunningly beautiful. I think that I am going to enjoy this book and I am also curious to hear about what happened to the other children. A well-balanced review which I enjoyed. I am sure that I will enjoy this book as well, as an adult. It is also novel to read about an audiobook for a change.
