Thanks for the review. It does sound like an interesting storyline, but having stories that are just blood and gore I guess is not so appealing. Perhaps the author will revise and improve his manuscript so we can have a better read
Reading gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are

I can understand revenge, though I don't support it. I can stomach violence, though I don't prescribe it. But revenge plus violence, seasoned with bad grammar and garnished with an incoherent plot? No, thank you.

This is an amazing collection of short stories involving horror, suspense, action, and an incredibly powerful ghost. The book is free on Kindle Unlimited and has a masterfully-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @lorenzo2015aka on the BOTD selection.

Horror is not my preferred theme, on top of that I wasn't all too impressed with the first story and the way YB interacts with the victims. I'll give it a pass.

I personally don't like to read horror stories and by reading your review it seems that the stories in the book were not well executed and edited, though I found the concept interesting. I think I will pass this one and, hope that the author will improvise and we will have a better read. Thanks for this detailed review.

The idea of the ghost involving in every short story of this book sounds terrific.

I was so excited when I saw this is a series of short ghost stories but after reading the review, I think I'll give it a pass. The story seems long winded and having multiple grammatical errors in the story is a deal breaker for me. I won't be reading this book for sure.

When I first saw the cover page of the book and the initial part of the review, it seemed to be good. As someone who likes reading horror stories, I thought of reading this one too. But after reading the complete review, it seems like the author was not able to put things up properly and I think the book might not be up to my expectations. Thank you for your honest and great review.

This sounds like a promising book, provided the poor editing is rectified. I like the supernatural quality of it. Yellow Beard haunting ancestors is his past. Short stories can be great when there is a common theme weave into the stories. Thanks for the great review.

In addition to how gruesome most of the stories were, I am not a fan of ghost stories. I think I will pass on this one. Thanks for the review.

This book promises a good read. So bad it is riddled with lots of errors. I believe good editing will bring out the best in it.

This collection of stories about Yellowbeard exacting revenge on his enemies sounds pretty cool (despite the poor character development). I especially like the supernatural element. I may give this one a look. Thanks for the review, Kendra. :techie-studyingbrown:
