Thanks! I love the cover as well! I really hope I can remember all the details of this book by the time the next books come out. I am following the author on Twitter and Goodreads so hopefully I will know as soon as the next books come out!

BOOK OF THE DAY! The cover is awesome! Sounds cool that Laken can communicate with wild animals. The book sounds intriguing. The second book will probably shed some light on the unresolved issues.

I enjoyed reading your review! The story and setting sound interesting. I also get disappointed in endings where the reader is left hanging. Since this is the first book in a series, it sounds like the author did this intentionally.

Paranormal romance isn't my cup of tea, but you still managed to make this book sound interesting. I just love reading books set in New England. Maybe I'll have to give Shadows at Sunset a go... Wonder if it's available at my local library...

Thanks for the awesome review of this book! The way you describe it and give us little clues into the various characters makes this sound like a really engaging book and one I'd definitely like to check out being a fan of paranormal romance novels. So am adding this one to my TBR shelf for sure and will be checking it out in the near future. Thanks for the great review.
