I was captivated from the beginning. The sheer resolve of Jet and his friends to solve the reason behind their mysterious disease is amazing. Their resulting friendship while on this journey of discovery is lesson we could all learn about working together for a common cause despite the obstacles that you will be facing. This is a very interesting science fiction story; I really want to finish the book after reading the sample and your excellent review! :tiphat:

Lately I've been getting super into fantasy and sci-fy books and I found this review about 'The Prism Effect' interesting enough to give the book a try. Per the review it seems the book is quite long (866 p.) and it's only the first one in the series. I'm not clear if this ends on a cliffhanger or not (hopefully not), but considering the 5/5 rate it's got I imagine it's going to be worth it.

Well done for this concise review. As interesting as well as intriguing this was, the number of pages in the book is a major no for me...

The review was so well written that the reviewer definitely peaked my interest in making me want to read this book. I'm not usually a science fiction fan but my new found eagerness to read this book may change my mind on that aspect. Sounds like more than just a science fiction novel but a story of faith trust and friendship¹

The Prism Effect by J. Wint promises an enthralling journey through the trials and tribulations of Jet Stroud, a determined student with an enigmatic disorder. The quest for answers to Epebus Mortem, coupled with the lessons on resilience and friendship, has piqued my curiosity.

A sci-fi book that talks about how Jet Stroud, who faced rejection and discrimination from society because of his neon-like illumination eyes, gained administration into Skylight University where he met other students with the same problem and they all worked together to find a solution to their problem. I like how Jet's friends cooperate and all work together as a team. Nice review.

At first, I was left wondering if the book had any unique qualities because the way you described the narrative did not click with me. Thanks to your further insights, I now see things quite differently. The book's emphasis on the unanswered questions surrounding Jet's health has sparked my interest.

I love Jet Stroud's approach to his challenge. I guess the rejection and discrimination he suffered fuelled his determination when the opportunity to find a solution presented itself. Congrats to the author on BOTD. Insightful review.

It highlights the book's profound themes of determination, collaboration, and the value of genuine friendship. I'm looking forward to discovering how the narrative evolves and immersing myself further into the universe the author has skillfully built.
