I don't like camping either. Without the profanity and explicit scenes, this makes it great coming of age book maybe even more suitable for younger readers. Great review.

I've never been camping, but I wish I had. This book sounds like a great way to experience camping. I didn't expect Lib to be such a complex character, but he makes the experience even better.

This tells about a camping trip that a fifteen-year-old boy made with his father, his brother and his brother's friends. It is an interesting topic for those who like adventure themes, boy scouts or just spend a day outdoors with nature around

A book that the author is very descriptive and the reader is able to get into the shoes of some of the characters must be a wonderful read. Great review!

Your Boy Scout camping experiences sound a lot like my Girl Scout ones. They were a rite of passage I had to endure. This seems like a book I would enjoy. I have become enamored of Lib in the sample pages I’ve read. Thank you for a great review.

I have many fond memories of camping as a kid, and this book sounds like it is beautifully written! I will have to check it out. Great review!

As I said the first time, I could recognize the good style the book was written in from the very first pages. I agree, though, with you, that there is the feeling of too much of a good thing. I congratulate you on the patience you had to uncover what was really going on, hidden under the beautiful descriptions.
Thank you for the review. :techie-studyinggray:

This sounds like a fun and wholesome read. I read the free preview and I agree that the author creates a rich sensory experience regarding nature and other details. When I was a teacher, there was a lack of boy-centered novels on the market. This one would be a nice read for young men which could capture their interests. Of course anyone can read and enjoy this book, but I appreciate seeing the young male experience showcased.

I am not a big fan of camping, although I do enjoy hiking, and I prefer books with thrilling, fast-paced stories. Therefore, I think I will pass on this story. Thanks for a wonderful review, though!
