During adolescence, we face many struggles that we do not know how to overcome. Fitting in a crowd, school stress, and bullying, among others, are situations that frequently affect teenagers. I think a book aimed at helping them is commendable.

This is an interesting helpful non-fiction book highlighting expectations from parents and other authority figures, body confidence, task management, struggling with life changes and responsibility, thinking, and ego control. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review.

I think trying to belong to one social group or the other and as well feel among and be recognized is one of the things associated with teenagers. Nice review

I get what you mean about profanity and I also get where the author is coming from. Unfortunately, profanity setting a bad example is not the only problem. The main issue, in my opinion, is that no matter how hard we try adults can't talk like teens. We only sound silly when we try and that makes the message less relatable.
But I remember how hard teenage years can be so I think the premise is great.
Good job!

WOW! This sounds like a great book for teens! They face so many changes when they transition from elementary to middle school, and even more from middle school to high school. If any of my grandchildren were still in this age range I would grab this book for them! Thanks for the excellent review!

I think this book would be a good step to bridge the gap between teens and their parents. Teenage issues are dealt with maturity. Thanks for a detailed review!

My teens weren't different from yours. I didn't bother about fitting anywhere. But schoolwork? That was a whole issue of its own. I'd like to read this book. The knowledge will help me know how to help the teens around me. Good review.

This book deals with teenage stress especially in terms of social media usage. I find that this book touches on topics that most of us can relate to. It is specifically for adolescents but many more could learn from it. Congrats on the BOTD!

Fitting in! It sounds lame thinking about it now, but back in the day, it was a necessity! I remember seeing friends struggling under peer pressure in high school. Peer pressure influenced me to do the exact opposite of its playbook; to date, I don't usually flow with the masses. This book sounds like one that can help teenagers navigate this "trying time" without losing connection with the outside world or constantly being against it. That makes it worthwhile. Congrats on the BOTD.

Back when I was a teenager I would have loved to have a greater adult understanding. Teen life is hard and most seem to not understand it even with being a teenager once themselves. This is a great review and would be a great book for someone with a teenager

Regardless of social media or not, teenagers need proper guidance to deal with all the physical and mental changes they are experiencing. Additionally, I understand your concern for the use of foul language, I hope the author will try consider the message he's trying to push out there in the future. Thanks for stating your honest opinion of the book.

From the book cover and title, I expected an easy read. But it seems that some deep ideas and explanations will require much of my attention. This is good. Great review.

It seems as though this book is a valuable resource for teens or parents of teens. These topics are not applicable to my life right now, so I will pass on today’s BOTD, but I love to see the spread of topics in the BOTD choices!
