Thank you for the review I'm glad you enjoyed it despite of the mistakes made by the author, I hope it makes the difference when you compare it with other vampire novels

This sounds like a really fun book to read. Although a little cliche with the typical, normal and ordinary girl and the amazing beautiful popular guy, I do think it sounds pretty creative what with him being a statue. I'm definitely interested in checking this out. Great review!

This was a good review. I appreciate knowing to look for the extemporaneous explanations after dialogue. I would find that annoying as well, though not labeling dialogue can be just as bad. I am going to read the book because I have already downloaded it and I usually enjoy Young Adult literature.

Thank you for the review. I understand both sides, you as the reader and Stone as the Author. Sometimes one over-thinks when writing and misses it when editing. Thats why it's important to have a good editor and honest beta readers!
If I weren't bored with vampire stories, I would love reading it, but happily I have it to read for when I am not! :)
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.

great review :D because it doesn't just promote the book blindly, it states the book as it actually is ..I like how these books (bending nature and the twilight series) actually subvert the initial idea of a scary blood sucking vampire, and create vampires that are human enough and exist around us..fantasy at its best.every attempt in a new direction is commendable

I downloaded this book for the Book of the Day promotion. I enjoyed it but I'll admit my interest started to wane toward the end. I was distracted by critiques of the writing style. The best writing makes me get lost in the story and forget that I'm reading fiction, but that was not the case here. It was a fun read, but could have used some more editing or plot direction in my opinion.
