I was reading a sample earlier and got engrossed. When I find it hard to stop reading, I think the author's done a pretty good job. I might just have to read through the whole thing.

Mahalo to the author for the free sample! I am at the part where she is at the bar for first time. It aslo feel like a roadtrip when I was 18. The settings are breathtakings. You can feel the mystery about to happen. The author drop little clues here and there. This book so far seems about learning the different releationships in life.

This sounds like a good read. I like the horse element too. I used to love books with horses in them when I was a girl. Great review!

This sounds like a very enchanting book. I like the unique take on fantasy when the magic is slow to develop. This sounds like it would be a fun read. Great review!

Great review. I cant wait to read it. I like the understated fantasy elements mixed with suspense since it sounds different to what I've been reading a lot lately.

A glowing review! I agree with you that subtle fantasy elements might be a welcome change from the YA norm. If I were interested in a YA novel, I might give this one a try.

I enjoy reading YA fiction since in general it is "safer" than adult fiction. I appreciate the acknowledgement that the romance isn't the main focus of the story and that it is "innocent." It sounds like the story has more depth with mystery and suspense, and a touch of magic. You have piqued my interest.

Gypsy Magic started off with a bang, and drew me right in. There was plenty of mystery introduced just in the first few pages to keep me interested. I'm kind of sorry the reviewer included so many details. Not that there were really spoilers, but perhaps more plot secrets revealed than I would have liked.

The writing was fine except for one wording error in the first few pages. When describing the dining area, the author used "enclave" when probably she meant "alcove". There was also a sentence, when Graycin first met Alex, that would have benefitted from a comma. Otherwise, it seemed pretty tight. Good review and interesting book!

Thank you for a delightful review. Sounds like a suspenseful page-turner from the way you describe the storyline. I am very intrigued to read this book this weekend.

I like the idea that the magic evolves slowly. I read the sample and it was well written and very interesting. Combining the sample with your review, I am reading this book! Great job! :)

Thanks for the review. of Gypsy Magic by Tonya Boyston. It would be fun reading this extraordinary setting. Can't wait to see the rest of the story of the two sisters.
