I appreciate the fact that you found that it may remind the reader of their adolescence...sometimes you forget how awesome (or unfortunately terrible) it was. Sometimes it helps adults relate better to their children and others that age.

I've read quit a few books about young people in the foster system. It's such an interesting, and all too often rather sad, subject for a novel. Thanks for your great review--it does sound like a story l'd enjoy.
