Thank you for the review. I love a book that can make you laugh and cry. I appreciate the fact that you found that it may remind the reader of their adolescence...sometimes you forget how awesome (or unfortunately terrible) it was. Sometimes it helps adults relate better to their children and others that age.

Thank you for this insight into the characters, especially Penny. I love reading YA lit with great characters, especially when the main characters are teens themselves. I'm lookingofrard to reading this book.

This sounds like a great read. From your description, Penny seems an endearing character. Great review!

Well written review by Ms./Mrs. Martin. This book "Penny Maybe" sounds like something both my nieces as well as myself may enjoy reading to get a different perspective on a person's life, especially in regard to orphans out there in the world. Thank you for the review!

I've read quit a few books about young people in the foster system. It's such an interesting, and all too often rather sad, subject for a novel. Thanks for your great review--it does sound like a story l'd enjoy.
