Awesome review. Sounds like an interesting book and I like that it has a lot of strong female characters. I'm not too keen on a cliffhanger ending, but at least there's an excerpt to the next one.

Thanks for the introduction!

Teriffic review! This sounds like a must read for fantasy lovers! The fast pace and plenty of twists and turns as well as well crafted characters including strong female leads just adds to the allure of this book. The fact that it ends in a cliffhanger wound usually be very frustrating but the knowledge that there is more to come helps a lot. Congratulations to the author on a teriffic review and thanks so much for sharing.

Great review. A story of magic, myth and fantasy sounds interesting to me. I also like reading stories where there's a strong female lead and this book has that too so I'm definitely reading this freebie. Congrats on being BOTD and thanks to the author for making it free

A high fantasy with mythic power, magic, and a forest-loving lady? Sounds like a perfect book for me! I love how the author included strong female roles here and how clear the author transitioning from one character's perspective to another. Thank you for such a lovely review!

Great review! As a big fan of fantasy of all types, this book looks very good. Interesting how these characters have a "power behind the throne" that guides them. Will have to look into getting this one.
