This is clearly a very powerful book, thank you for taking the time to review it in depth!

Excellent review! I can really feel how passionately you feel towards this book and it makes me want to read it immediately. I think that I will definitely encourage my daughter who is in high school to read this book with me. The topics of bullying, violence and prejudices ring so true in our schools today even more, so much more than they did in previous generations. Congrats to the author on a very heartfelt and wonderful review! Thanks so much for sharing!

Wonderful in-depth review. A book about bullying and high school violence is definitely pertinent in these times. I'll definitely be reading this book today. Congrats to the author on being BOTD and thanks for making this important book free.

kandscreeley, this is a really compelling review. Bullying is rampant everywhere and sometimes not taken seriously until it turns ugly. I am definitely reading this book despite the errors. Thank you for a great review.

Thank you for your insightful review! This is really interesting. A mother never ceases to love her child, whatever the world thinks of her daughter. This novel addresses timely topic such as violence and bullying. I'll put this on my to-read list.

After reading almost half of the book, I can not stop the tears flowing. This story about a single mother raising her teenage daughter. Every mother would do everything for her child. This story about Oceana, Drachea, and Emmalynne is a must read story that will awaken our sleeping emotions.

I like this story and i will choose to overlook all the errors just to get to know where the story takes me. Graphic scenes don't scare me and i like the fact that the characters are vividly described. Great review

I usually don't read such emotional books but bullying and violence is quite rampant in schools today. Reading this book might help me understand a bit more about YA and what they might be going through. Thanks for the great review.

This would be a horrific thing to go through for any parent. You can't stop loving your child no matter what, in my opinion. It doesn't mean that you don't find this behavior abhorrent though. This sounds like a very dark book but a necessary one to read. Thank you for your honest review.

Great review! This sounds like a heart wrenching read but also touches on themes that need to be discussed since they are very real and common in our society! Congrats on book of the day!

Quite a great review. Bringing out the challanges faced by women being single parents. This is not only an entertaining literature but also an educative piece.

Thanks for the review.
The book seems to have melancholic overtones. Bullying is wrong and has to be stopped as it may lead to disastrous outcomes for both, the bully and the person getting bullied, as the book says. Also it is stressful and causes a lot of anguish.

It is not for the faint of heart, but it is a great eye opener of a novel!
