"Racing the Wild" really sounds like a story that would stay with me—raw, emotional, and full of heart. I’m drawn to Chris’s courage, his love for animals, and that powerful journey through the wild. I’d love to read it. Congrats BOTD!

This young adult book sounds very interesting. It's sad that abuse is such a prominent theme. Still, your detailed, compelling review has me rooting for young Chris as he navigates his difficult life on the way to freedom. Great review.

Friendship, undoubtedly and as stated, is transformative, and it is also good to see that one of the pillars and key themes of the novel is the enduring spirit of Chris through adversity. It is sad to see that abuse is even witnessed at home, which normally is where we find solace. The book is on my shelf.
Thanks for the review, @williams Emerald.

This review was as captivating as the book itself sounds to be. It is not often that we see 5 out of 5 ratings, and I'm sure this book must be worth it. Your review really has encouraged me and intrigued me to read this book as soon as possible. There are many people who must suffer from abuse by their wn family, and how it makes the place that was supposed to be home be turned into hell. Those people will resonate and be motivated to read this book by reading your review.

I am really happy that this book is getting attention! I have read and reviewed this book and agree with everything above! It deserves the full five stars! This is a powerful YA book that deals with tough topics that I think anyone who likes horses or adventure stories would love.

I like how this review mentions Chris’s passion for sketching and art. Art therapy is a powerful tool for healing for people going through a tough time, just like horse therapy. Chris struggles but finds healthy ways to deal with it which is important

Congrats on BOTD!
About a child, a horse, and the struggle for liberty, Rosanna Andrea Feeken's "Racing the Wild" is an honest and poignant young adult book. It combines thrills, endurance through harm, and the restorative effect of companionship and creativity in the Australian outback.

The book sounds interesting yet heartwarming at the same time telling us the story of a young boy who struggles in an unfavourable environment being abused by both his older siblings and his father. The book is a nice example to show the human spirit, the resilience and how to stand your ground. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Chris’s story sounds so real and emotional. His bond with the horse, love for sketching, and fight for freedom make me want to root for him. The Australian bush setting adds such a raw and wild feel too. This sounds like a touching read. Congrats on BOTD!

Resenha de Racing the Wild: A Journey of Freedom and Friendship

Reading Racing the Wild By Rosanna Andrea really pulled me in, Chris A teenage Boy dealing with a challenging home life under his father, Chris's story hit hard, his strength in the face of such a tough home life and the way he connected with the horse, felt so real. The bond between him and his friends and the freedom he found in nature made me reflect on what it means to choose your own path, even when everything seems stacked against you.

Thank you for your review. I have read the sample. Chris is an abused teenager, abused by his father and his older twin brothers. His mother is also abused. In a horrible incident, the father hurt both his wife and Chris, and they were in the hospital together. Yet, neither told the police. Can Chris find sanctuary from this sad life? Read this book.
