This isn't for those who like serious James Bond-style spy stories, but for those who like fun YA spy novels with a surprising level of backstory and a quick pace, give this one a shot!
Justin Reed aka Dodger is on a mission to find his father's killer. Love fun spy novels filled with action, romance, and adventure. :D Definitely a must-read for me! Got my copy! Thank you for the detailed review!

Imagine a story where Oliver Twist got caught up in the wild world of spying in an attempt to catch his father's murderer and take down the CIA's most wanted criminal.

Sounds like a perfect blend of humor and action. Thanks for summarizing the plot for us, because I was at a loss after reading the title. Teenaged protagonist involved in a serious inbestigation sounds fun!

Sounds exciting, especially if it's anything like Home Alone.

This book sounds like so much fun. I like suspense, and this one sounds like it has plenty of it along with some humor to break up the tension. Just from what I read in the review, the main character sounds like the type of underdog I would root for. I can't wait to start reading this.

The review just made me want to read the book more. Particularly when i read Home alone. Who doesn't love that movie. And who doesn't love movies with kids being spies trying to save adults and the whole world like the Spy kids. Great job in doing the review.

I'm not a fan of spy stories, but this one seems fresh and easy to relate to.

It sounds like the author has done a great job with piecing together a storyline with twists and turns. Justin seems to be a troubled youth and the spy aspect of it adds to the suspense. Nice job on this review. I don’t read a lot of YA, so I’m not sure it’s for me but maybe a good recommendation for those of the YA category.

Great review. I am a big fan of really good YA fiction. This one being a spy story with a lot of humor, some action, and great relatable characters makes this a must read in my book. The description of “streetwise teen + James Bond + the wild ridiculousness of something like Home Alone” paints the best picture. Congrats to the author on a terrific review. Thanks so much for sharing.

This book looks different and interesting. Justin is such an engaging character, sort of an anti-hero if I could say so. I look forward to reading this!
