A girl discovers her super powers in an unusual place and uses it to make the life of people around her better, sounds great! I am intrigued by the reincarnation part, I don’t understand how that fits in. I don’t think I would enjoy reading this book. I will pass. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Fans of young adult novels will enjoy this fascinating "supernatural story with past lives, secret caves, and a talking fish." The book is also well edited and filled with magic! Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the genre, so I will pass on this one. Glad you enjoyed it so much and thank you for the review!

Bullying is never easy to deal with, but it's great that Karina found her place in the world inside a mysterious cave, past lives, and a talking fish! It's interesting that the scar ends up disappearing. Also, being able to see what other people's motives are seems pretty beneficial. Glad you found that the author does a great job in involving you in Karina's journey that all the things that happens to her doesn't seem far-fetched. Wow, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I think it does say a lot of how well the author can portray emotions in a book when she can get her readers to become emotional, as well. Too bad that the storyline of the boy who needed help wasn't developed more, but it's good to know the book was well-edited. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for sharing!

This sounds like an awesome premise for a teen book. A book about her past lives sounds exciting and hopefully it will help Karina come to terms with her scar and how to fight back against the bullies. Thanks for the great review!

This sounds like a great book to read. I’m slowly appreciating magic and supernatural genre. I’m glad to note that it’s not all magic as there’s a back story too. Thanks for your review!

At first reading the part about a hidden door, the secret garden came to mind but further down it turned out to be not a charming garden but a place of discovering the missing pieces.

The story seems to be interesting. Karina goes through a lot of trauma because of the scar and also experiences healing. However, I do not believe in reincarnation. I hope others will enjoy reading it, though. Thanks for the review!

I like books like this as it is in Harry Potter and in the Chronicles of Narnia. I would love to read the book. These fantasy imaginations help to relax the brain from tiring daily hard works.

I don't think this is a book I would normally choose, but after your review, I want today's BOTD to be my next read! A magical story of self-discovery and realization sounds wonderful for both teens and adults. Thank you for the recommendation and the review! :-)

This sounds like a super cute book, even if it gets a little out there with the magic. Thanks for the review!

I read the sample and read your review. I did not expect this to be a supernatural book. Like you I thought this would be a coming of age book. Now that I know this has supernatural elements, I am going to read this. Thanks for the review, I might missed a good book if I had not read it.
