Although, the book didn't exactly turn out as well as it started, but it good at expressing. It explains how far one could go for love when hurt. The author has great thoughts that could better written if developed well.

Too bad this story lacked the type of development that could’ve given it excellent appraisals. I hope the author redevelops this story. Thanks for the review

Your summary of the book had me super-intrigued, but that’s really unfortunate that there were so many issues with the book, particularly with the poor editing. That really does hurt a book. It’s always a bad sign when we have to re-read something over and over again in order to be able to understand what the author meant to say. Too bad! Great review, though!

I think I'll pass on these. This book didn't sound particularly my preference to begin with. Yellow Beard has an interesting back story, but it's just not for me. Really good review though. 🙂

A Dead Cherokee man turned ghost who is out to take revenge from the people who are responsible for atrocities committed against them. It is unfortunate that the author was unable to live up to the expectation of the readers and the book was not properly edited. The author should take this as a constructive criticism and work on these aspects and come up with a better novel in future. Thanks for your honest and descriptive review. :tiphat:

The book sounded so promising and I love to read ghost stories, but what a shame it doesn't live up to expectations, I would have loved a book like this one. Sounds like the author had a great idea but wasn't able to execute it properly.

I don't like horror stories. So this book is definitely not for me at all. Thanks for the review!

Ghosts stories are good for fantasy reader like me and i like the way, writer has explained human behaviours by narrating ghost stories! The problem with punctuation should have been removed by proofreading.Revenge stories are definietly comprised of gruesome killings but exposure of blood and murders may not sound good to people with sensitive hearts.overall book seems quite good to me. Congratulations on book of the day to both writers.

It's sad to see so many grammatical errors in a book along with badly constructed plot; it distracts the reader and results in the loss of interest. Thanks for the detailed review.

The premise seems intriguing, and I like gruesome horror stories, too bad the development was problematic. Maybe an editor might help the author in that task. Thank you for your honest review!

Today's BOTD is not for me...I'm a bit of a "scaredy-cat" when it comes to ghost stories! For those who enjoy the horror genre and tales of revenge, you may want to give this a try...that is, if you dare!

Thank you for the excellent review. It was really helpful. I definitely did not think this was going to be what the book wad about because OBC has it listed as a YA book. I'm going to skip this one. Thanks, again! :-)

When we lived in North Carolina, we lived near Cherokee, NC, which is where many of the native people were removed from onto the Trail of Tears. The sad history of these unfortunate people would make such a great novel. But this is not that novel. From the initial pages that I read of the sample, I could tell that it was missing the mark. Someday I would like to read historical fiction about that time period. Thanks for an honest review.

Very well written review. After reading the sample text, I would not read the book. It reminds me of the silly stories my girlfriends and I would tell around the campfire at church camp. The stories always included a ghost that swung an ax and split somebody's head open. But it brought back some great memories of my childhood. I found several errors in the sample text.
