Thanks for another thoughtful review. I have never reading a book with a snowboarding theme, and this one sounds interesting. It sounds like there is a nice mix of crime, friendship, and Irish culture. It's nice to know there are no graphic sex scenes or cuss words. I love books set in Ireland, so I am off to read the sample!

Thank you for the lovely review. It is encouraging to see little Michael, who is just and courageous enough to attempt to apprehend the illegals. I hope he finds success with his love interest Ciara and does not have to give up skateboarding. I've added it to my TBR list. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

The plot of this book seems very interesting. Michael's character is equally intriguing and well-rounded. His adventures as an exchange student who witnessed a mafia conversation will be exciting to read. The target audience for this book will appreciate the suspense and thrill the author has to offer. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This sounds like an intriguing YA crime novel with a lot going on. I do wonder how important it is to have read the other three books in the series as well… Perhaps they all just take place in the same world or are only tangentially related?

Coming-of-age stories with fast paced plot and well-developed characters are interesting in themselves. When mixed with crime and investigation, they become un-putdownable! The review perfectly captures the essence of the book.

The more you read the book, the more it envelops you. It is a book about crime and gives information about Ireland. An excellent book.

It is a peculiar feat to explore other people's passion and write characters and plot around it, especially of crime. Great job to the author for the appreciation handed to the Irish and their culture. Congrats for the BOTD!

Initially, I thought the book was about skateboarding. The review cleared that misunderstanding and piqued my interest. I am excited to hear that there were no swear words.
