Your excellent review gives a fair idea of both the content and the quality of this book. All in all, it sounds like an interesting story. Although it is a plot that we have seen before, it has some interesting variations and so would be a worthwhile read. Many thanks.

This book sounds like a lot of movies I've watched like flash and the gifted. I really love storyline like this. Thanks for a perfect review.

This is an interesting sci fi, with family drama included. What secrets does the mother hub? What does it mean for the clairvoyants?.

Super power and heroe books are not really my thing. I'll pass on this one. However, the review is beautiful and congrats on BOTD

This is an amazing fast-pacing young adult science fiction novel highlighting secrecy, truth, diverse and relatable characters, and a killer plot. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

This sounds like an interesting read for those who enjoy books about clairvoyance. I won't be reading this one since I try to stay away from anything about kinetics, magic, etc. I'm not much of a fantasy fan, anyway. Thanks for the great review!

This is an interesting story. I would love to read it. I am adding it to my shelf. I love the part that the main character is a teenager.

It sounds like the socially awkward and diverse cast in this book really brings Moore's plot to life.

I'm glad to read this because if we had people with superpowers in real life, I'm sure many of them would actually be something in the middle of virtuous and evil instead of simply good and bad.
As for the side characters, those that have been underdeveloped should be given a proper character arc in the next books (From the title it looks like this book is going to have sequels).
And kudos to the author for including a diverse cast of characters. :tiphat:

Thanks for the concise review on this YA novel. It seems like this story will be interesting for Young Adults as it as a colorful range of characters and it seems to be pretty fast-past, enough to keep them engaged. It is unfortunate if the plot switches around so much some characters do not get fully developed, but as this is the first in the series, perhaps that will change.

"The book celebrates diversity in the portrayal of the other characters, whose appearance and personality quirks make them memorable in their own rights."

This sentence makes me so happy because I know there are authors out there creating diverse characters instead of sticking "inside the box". I think your summarized the book very well and because of your honesty, I know this book won't fit my preferred reading style.

A book about gifted people and the character Rion. I already love this book. I can't wait to read about his telekinetic abilities and how he maneuvers in the world after separation from his mother. Congrats BOTD!
